Elite Diesel Engineering fuel systems are required to make the higher horsepower gains available with hot tuners and/or
injectors. The stock fuel system cannot maintain enough fuel volume for even a hot tuner. Power gains can be made by adding
our fuel system to a truck with stock injectors but it becomes a necessity when used with larger injectors. A Powerstroke Injector
relies on diesel fuel to lubricate the internal parts.  If the injectors are not supplied the necessary fuel damage will occur.  The
warranty on our injectors does not cover damage due to lack of fuel (our injector warranty policy is HERE), so make sure your
fuel system will supply your injectors!  If you have any questions, let us help!  



Stage 1:
This is our regulated return system. This kit is designed to supply Stage 1 or Stage 2 Injectors, but is also beneficial to trucks
with stock injectors and aggressive tuning.  Fuel supply volume from the factory filter housing is increased by replacing the restrictive
banjo bolts and lines with larger full flow fittings and braided steel hoses. Pressure is controlled by an auxiliary fuel pressure regulator.
Fuel no longer dead-heads at the back of the cylinder head but is now circulated through the head, out to the pressure regulator and
then back to the fuel tank. This system ensures that new fuel is constantly flowing to the injectors and is continually purging air from the
fuel system. Included in the Stage 1 kit are Full-flow Stainless Steel fittings, Stainless Steel braided supply and return lines,
Aeromotive pressure regulator (which comes with a 2 year warranty), regulator mounting kit, and our custom billet adapter to ensure a
clean appearing install.  We use Stainless Steel fittings because they have larger passages than steel fittings.

Stage 2:
The stage 2 fuel system takes over where the Stage 1 system left off. Fuel supply is increased by adding a larger fuel
pick-up tube, larger fuel supply line and replacing the stock pump with an extra volume unit. Included in the Stage 2 kit is the Stage 1
kit plus an Aeromotive High-Volume Fuel Pump and mounting plate, larger pick-up tube, larger supply hose, pre-filter, and assorted
fittings.
